Welcome to our Glamping site, in the beautiful North Dordogne region in France. Read all about our journey via our blogs here.
Belair le Camping is situated in a small hamlet called Maucité, less than a mile from the village of Champagnac de Belair. The village has a small shop, and a Michelin starred restaurant! 6 miles away is the beautiful town of Brantôme, dubbed the ‘Venice of France’ due to the close proximity to water and the picture perfect streets. Find out more about our local area here.
We are a family from East Anglia England who have dreamed of living a life less ordinary, under a starry sky and rolling green hills. Having had various careers in industries such as banking, car sales and house renovations, we wanted a completely fresh start. After much research, our hearts and minds fell in love with the Dordogne and we want to share our love of glamping with friends, family and like minded individuals around the world.
Belair le camping opened for business in April 2017 with fully refurbished communal facilities, an outdoor cinema and a selection of six luxury belle tents available to enjoy. If you’re looking for a romantic chilled out holiday or relaxing family fun full of fantastic food, wine and French charm look no further!
We were filmed for Channel 4’s ‘A New Life in the Sun’ and very excited/nervous! We are very proud of our site and overwhelmed that we could feature on such an influential show. So you could be seeing Belair le Camping on screen in the spring 2018.
We hope you enjoy looking around our site and having a taste of the adventure that lies ahead…
2018 – whats new for our Glampsite: A woodland chill out zone, a communal fire pit, our Black Lab Fletcher will be keeping us busy and our chickens will be exploring the site and providing us with breakfast!
